PHOTOGRAPHY TEAM MEMBER

REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Marketing Assistant, and Social Media

BASED AT: 303-A University Drive East, College Station, Texas, 77840

JOB PURPOSE

Add value to the company by shooting product-focused pictures in a lifestyle format.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Serve as a member of the Marketing Team by our core values.
  • Perform all regular duties associated with photography professionally.
  • Responsible for learning about and understanding the Aggieland Outfitters brand
  • Performed all work within set time standards in cooperation with other departments
  • Photograph all products for online sales and marketing needs, including preparing items to be photographed and preparing studios for a wide range of products and visual needs.
  • Contact, schedule, and prepare models for model shoots of select products
  • Assist outside photographers with location shoots as asked by the head studio photographer.
  • Assist in all video post-production, including retouching and preparing all model imagery per needed use and output.
  • Ensures equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining inventories, and evaluating new equipment.

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrate skills, knowledge, and experience in photography and lighting for studio, outdoor, and on-location shoots.
  • Possess flexibility, creativity, and adaptivity within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Adobe Creative suite, expressly but not limited to Photoshop, Camera Raw, AI, and Lightroom, and Apple and PC literacy.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, projects, demands, and changes.
  • Demonstrates winning customer service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress for Graphic Design, photography, or equivalent preferred

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of relevant experience preferred

NOTES

  • Available to work an average of 15-20 hours per week in separate shifts
  • This position may require some transportation to retail locations, local photoshoots, or major photoshoots utilizing a personal vehicle
