Job description

Marketing Manager โ€“ Phoenix, AZ
Salary Range
$100,000 โ€“ $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Candidates with advanced HubSpot expertise and demonstrated experience successfully building and managing comprehensive marketing programs will be considered toward the higher end of the range.
Position Summary
Western States Metal Roofing is looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and execute our marketing efforts from our Phoenix, Arizona location. This is an on-site position and candidates must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the Phoenix area.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that support sales growth, strengthen the Western States brand, generate qualified leads, and increase awareness of our products and capabilities throughout the markets we serve.
A critical requirement of this position is advanced, hands-on experience with HubSpot. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping Western States fully utilize HubSpot as our primary marketing platform, including campaign management, automation, lead generation, reporting, customer segmentation, and integration with our sales efforts.
We are looking for someone who can both develop strategy and execute it. This is not a position that simply manages outside vendors. The Marketing Manager will work closely with sales and leadership to understand our customers, competitors, markets, products, and opportunities and turn that information into effective marketing campaigns and sales tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the overall marketing strategy for Western States Metal Roofing.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to develop marketing initiatives that directly support revenue growth and lead generation.
  • Serve as the internal HubSpot expert and take ownership of the company's marketing use of the platform.
  • Build, manage, and optimize HubSpot campaigns, workflows, automation, email campaigns, forms, landing pages, lists, customer segmentation, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Develop lead-generation and lead-nurturing programs within HubSpot.
  • Establish lead tracking and reporting that allows marketing and sales leadership to understand where leads are coming from, how they are progressing, and which marketing efforts are generating results.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing and sales-support activities through HubSpot.
  • Evaluate our current use of HubSpot and continuously improve how the platform is utilized throughout the company.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts including website content, SEO, email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and other digital campaigns.
  • Develop and manage content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create and coordinate marketing materials including product flyers, brochures, color charts, sales sheets, email campaigns, presentations, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Develop campaigns around specific products, colors, panel profiles, services, promotions, and geographic markets.
  • Monitor competitors including product offerings, colors and finishes, panel profiles, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and market positioning.
  • Conduct market and competitive research and communicate relevant findings and opportunities to sales and leadership.
  • Help identify new markets, customer segments, product opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Support the sales team with customer-specific marketing materials, presentations, campaigns, and other tools needed to win business.
  • Manage trade show and industry event marketing, including pre-show promotion, booth materials, follow-up campaigns, and lead coordination.
  • Track marketing performance including leads, website traffic, campaign results, conversions, engagement, and ROI.
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all Western States locations and marketing channels.
  • Coordinate with outside marketing vendors, agencies, publications, photographers, videographers, and other partners as needed.
  • Train and support team members on HubSpot processes and best practices when necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in construction, building materials, manufacturing, roofing, architectural products, or a related B2B industry.
  • Advanced, hands-on HubSpot experience is required.
  • Candidates must have demonstrated experience independently building and managing campaigns, workflows, automation, lists, segmentation, email marketing, landing pages, forms, dashboards, and reporting within HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot Marketing Hub and how it integrates with sales processes and CRM data.
  • Experience using HubSpot to generate, nurture, track, and measure leads throughout the customer journey.
  • Ability to analyze HubSpot data and translate it into actionable recommendations for sales and leadership.
  • HubSpot certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing campaigns rather than solely managing outside vendors.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO, content development, and lead generation.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies that directly support a sales organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with competitive and market research.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working directly with sales, operations, and executive leadership.
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects from concept through completion.
  • Experience in metal roofing, roofing, construction, manufacturing, or building materials is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Must be able to work on-site at our Phoenix, Arizona location. This is not a remote position.
