Job Title – Marketing Communications & Digital Marketing Specialist

Location - San Diego, CA

Duration – 12+ Months Contract

Client: Medical Device Company

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)
1st Shift

• Must have: ATTENTION TO DETAIL, strong interest in the Marketing field, mastery of grammar/spelling/diction, some experience with Photoshop/InDesign.
• Previous experience managing assets/content (architecture, tagging, etc.) a plus.
Summary:
We're looking for a go-getter with a passion to grow in the marketing communication field, who's willing to learn and take initiative, is hungry to make a meaningful contribution right out of the gate. Someone who will be a well-rounded team player, who can jump in to support our diverse initiatives, partner with the team and be our go-to person to get things done.
As part of the MMS US Region Communication team, you will be responsible for various levels of communications coordination and execution in support of the team's goals. You will take part in developing a stronger and more consistent set of communication tools and vehicles for the MMS sales team and be responsible for supporting the enhancement of existing stakeholder communication. This role will also support and partner with team members on the US Region Marketing Communication & Digital Marketing group to execute on project-based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as content & asset librarian; drive ongoing enhancement and content management initiatives within customer relationship databases (Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms (Showpad)
o Tasks include but are not limited to: sales tool library management, content uploads, minor sales tools revisions, platform training sessions.
• Support the sales and marketing teams through the delivery of relevant and timely marketing content and key deliverables through a variety of communication channels.
• Manage weekly sales and marketing update (SAMU) newsletter and sales team newsflashes.
• Draft, review, and edit content as needed for inclusion in both internal and external communications according to BD brand and writing standards.
• Support social media initiatives (write content and design graphics/gifs/short videos as needed)
• Support project management execution for communications activities including webinars, events, virtual selling tools, video creation and special campaigns.
• Contribute to additional marketing projects as appropriate to support the US Region MMS Comms Team.
Qualifications & Competencies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Fine Arts, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred; 2 years related internship or professional business experience.
- Associate’s Degree and/or equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience in medical device and/or regulated environments highly desirable.
- B2B digital marketing and/or agency experience a plus!
• High degree of proficiency with
- Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Conferencing and team collaboration / project management platforms (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Wrike)
• Experience with graphics tools (Adobe Photoshop/InDesign) and/or digital marketing tools a plus.
• Highly polished writing and editing skills, strong presentation and verbal communication skills - generated through critical attention to detail.
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management, planning, execution, time-management, follow-through.
• Communicate effectively and work extremely well with multidisciplinary teams, excel in fast-paced environments.
• Self-starter able to work independently to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment, with flexibility and willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
• Proven ability to collaborate and establish rapport and relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
• Personal characteristics: dynamic, team player, detail-oriented, critical thinker, self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful - "will figure it out", customer-focused.
