Position Summary:
Everon is looking for the next generation of marketing leaders to bring their passion, ideas and education to life by joining Everon's Marketing Internship Program. Work directly with marketing teams to gain hands-on experience supporting the organization's overall marketing strategy.
Hybrid Internship local to the Chicago, IL area- PLEASE only apply if you live in the Chicago area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The digital marketing intern will assist with the execution of strategic digital marketing campaigns, which may include the following activities:
  • Assist in the training, testing, and optimization of AI agents
  • Supporting AI agent development through prompt creation, data organization, and performance evaluation
  • Support email marketing campaigns and lead generation activities
  • Ongoing website optimization, including page creation and SEO
  • Creation of social media posts, working with our graphic designers for imagery
  • Responding to Google reviews and incoming customer emails
  • Coordination of digital ad artwork for campaigns
  • Reporting and analyzing campaign performance

Education/Certification:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, marketing technology, information systems, or related field.
  • Training or certification in MarTech platforms or information systems a plus, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Customer Insights, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.

Position Details:
  • Internship will begin in Sept 2026
  • Internship length: 4 months
  • Hours: Part-time, up to 20 hours a week
  • Ability to continue part-time work into the school year (with a modified schedule) a plus.
  • Hybrid Internship local to the Chicago, IL area. Primarily working remotely with weekly in-person office days if possible.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Foundational understanding of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO/AEO, and more.
  • Foundational understanding of AI concepts including prompt building, automation workflows, and agent-based systems
  • Experience with CRM, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics and AI models (LLMs, Agentic, Generative, Predictive)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically through technical challenges.
  • Candidate must have willingness to learn about different aspects of the organization and within the marketing team's scope
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical team members including marketers, product managers, IT, and sales teams alike
  • Candidate must be organized, driven, and a fast learner with an entrepreneurial and self-starting mentality
