Job Title: Senior Director of Marketing

This role is responsible for leading and evolving key marketing functions across the organization, including ecommerce, print media, digital, social media, loyalty, and mobile marketing, while translating enterprise strategy into actionable plans that drive growth, engagement, and brand differentiation. 

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Leads the development and execution of integrated, omni-channel marketing strategies aligned to enterprise goals and growth priorities
  • Partners with executive leadership to shape short- and long-term marketing priorities, providing insights and recommendations based on data, trends, and performance
  • Oversees day-to-day operations of core marketing functions, including print media, digital marketing, ecommerce, and customer engagement channels
  • Drives initiatives to improve ROI, optimize spend, and enhance marketing effectiveness across all channels
  • Ensures consistent brand positioning and localized relevance across all Festival Foods markets to increase sales and elevate the guest experience
  • Manages and optimizes the marketing budget, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes
  • Leads, develops, and mentors a team of leaders; fosters a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, IT, Finance, and Store Leadership to develop and execute marketing programs that support company-wide initiatives
  • Translates the Annual Operating Plan into clear marketing roadmaps with defined KPIs, timelines, and deliverables
  • Identifies, evaluates, and implements KPI's and best practices, tools, and technologies to improve marketing processes, capabilities, and efficiencies
  • Monitors local, regional, and national trends to inform strategy and ensure proactive responsiveness to market dynamics
  • Builds strong relationships across all levels of the organization to ensure alignment, visibility, and successful execution of marketing initiatives
  • Oversees associate development within the marketing function, including coaching, performance management, and succession planning
  • Represents Festival Foods at industry events, vendor partnerships, and relevant professional organizations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role managing teams and complex initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated alignment with Festival Foods' Mission, Values, and Boomerang Basics
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel marketing programs including digital, ecommerce, loyalty, and print
  • Experience overseeing or partnering with in-house print operations preferred
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving measurable results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in coaching, mentoring, and building high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing tools, analytics, performance measurement frameworks, and martech stack
  • Track record of using data and insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Ability to travel for store visits, industry conferences, and events as needed
