At Handyman Connection, we’re looking for a motivated Craftsman Apprentice—someone who has some trade experience but wants to grow, learn, and gain professional hands-on training alongside seasoned experts in the field. We take care of the business side—scheduling, marketing, customer management—so you can focus on honing your skills, gaining real-world experience, and becoming a highly skilled craftsman.
Our Core Values—Delivering on Our Commitments, Respecting the Connections, Taking Pride in Our Work, and Practicing Continuous Improvement—guide everything we do. If you’re driven, hardworking, and serious about building a career in the trades, this opportunity is for you!
  • Why Start Your Career with Handyman Connection?
  • Hands-On Training & Mentorship – Work alongside experienced craftsmen and learn the best techniques from industry pros.
  • Fair & Competitive Pay – Get paid while you learn, with opportunities for pay increases as your skills improve.
  • Steady Work, Real Experience – Gain exposure to a variety of jobs, from carpentry and drywall to tile work and minor plumbing & electrical repairs.
  • No Guesswork – Just High-Quality Jobs – We pre-screen customers, provide detailed work orders, and ensure you always know what’s expected before you arrive.
  • Professional Image & Strong Local Reputation – We provide a branded uniform (t-shirt & hat) to maintain a clean, professional appearance on-site.
  • A Dedicated Support Team – Our office staff is here to help you succeed, handling appointments, job logistics, and customer communication.
  • State-of-the-Art Dispatching Software – Stay organized and efficient with our smart scheduling system, so you always know where you're going and when.
What We’re Looking For in a Craftsman Apprentice:

  • Some Experience in the Trades – Ideally, you have worked in or studied carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, electrical work, or general home repairs.
  • Eager to Learn & Grow – You have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a goal of becoming a skilled craftsman.
  • Basic Knowledge of Tools & Safety Procedures – Comfortable using hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic power tools under supervision.
  • Reliable & Professional – Show up on time, follow instructions, and treat customers’ homes with respect and care.
  • Ability to Follow Direction & Work as a Team – You’ll be working closely with seasoned craftsmen, so a positive attitude and strong communication skills are a must.
  • Your Own Work Vehicle (Preferred, but Not Required) – A reliable truck or van is helpful but not required for apprentices.
  • Your Own Basic Tools (Preferred, but Not Required) – We encourage apprentices to bring their own tools, but we will provide guidance on what you’ll need over time.
  • Smartphone & Tech-Savvy – Must have a smartphone with reliable internet and be comfortable using our Field App daily to track jobs, update work orders, and communicate with the team.
  • Valid Driver’s License – We work with professionals our customers can trust.
Who Thrives Here?

  • Aspiring Craftsmen Who Want to Gain Professional Experience – If you have some trade skills but want real hands-on learning, this is your opportunity.
  • Hardworking Individuals Looking for a Career, Not Just a Job – If you’re serious about building a future in the trades, we’ll give you the tools to succeed.
  • Motivated Learners Who Want to Work Alongside Pros – If you thrive in hands-on, fast-paced environments and want to be mentored by experienced craftsmen, you’ll fit right in.

Apply Today! We’d love to learn more about your skills and how you can grow with Handyman Connection!
