General Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day marketing, communication, recruiting, branding, and proposal/prequalification needs of Ace Electric. This role helps keep marketing projects organized, supports companywide communication efforts, and assists with prequalification documents as needed. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Director.

Preferred Job Skills:

  • Ability to maintain required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working with deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Basic understanding of social media, marketing, branding, and content creation.
  • Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe tools, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work well with multiple departments and team members.
  • Construction, electrical, or trade industry experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily marketing department operations, administrative tasks, and project coordination to support departmental goals and timelines.
  • Support social media planning, content development, scheduling, posting, and audience engagement across applicable platforms.
  • Assist in the development of flyers, presentations, internal announcements, email communications, recruiting materials, and other marketing collateral.
  • Maintain consistency with Ace Electric's brand standards, including messaging, colors, logos, templates, and overall visual identity.
  • Support photography, video coordination, employee spotlights, project highlights, jobsite content, and other visual storytelling initiatives.
  • Organize and maintain marketing files, photographs, templates, forms, project assets, and related departmental resources.
  • Support recruiting campaigns by assisting with job advertisements, social media content, graphics, event materials, and promotional communications.
  • Assist with company events, career fairs, employee engagement initiatives, internal campaigns, and related marketing support activities.
  • Track marketing tasks, deadlines, campaign results, project updates, and other key deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, Safety, Operations, Leadership, and other departments to support marketing and communication needs.
  • Assist with website updates, blog content, and basic digital marketing activities as needed.
  • Assist with preparing presentations and reports for meetings or leadership updates.
  • Assist with Prequalification as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • License:Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Education:High School Graduate/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Working Conditions:

  • Work in a climate-controlled office setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
  • Considerable amount of time making repetitive motions.
  • Considerable amount of time sitting.
  • Considerable amount of time using telephone and computer.
  • Sounds, noise levels may be distracting or uncomfortable.
  • 5% Travel may be required.
