WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information pertaining to Region's dealers. Position is the primary Dealer Development contact for updating of SAP database. The position is critical in the development, preparation of documentation, maintaining and updating key dealer, franchise, and vendor actions accurately. Behavioral due diligence is necessary to ensure compliance to meet all legal, state/government, and franchise regulatory requirements for dealer actions.
  • The position collects and disseminates information necessary to support decisions by all levels of Regional management in market representation, market performance, and new market identification. The region looks to market representation for timely and accurate detailed information.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Administer the workflow of the Dealer Action packages system, from initiating, analyzing and reviewing all Dealer Development packages for accuracy prior to approval by Regional Management and submission to the National Dealer Development department. Interface with National on agreement activities and requirements. Evaluate complex ownership structures and related State-by-State legal requirements to determine which packages/documents are required based on the situation presented.
  • Such actions and packages include, but are not limited to:
    • New Dealer Appointments
    • Buy/Sell Transactions
    • Letters of Intent
    • Sales and Service Agreement Amendments
    • Management Changes
    • Relocations
    • Terminations
  • Develop and maintain departmental tracking, report management and distribution of dealer support and performance programs, including but not limited to:
  • Earnback/Customer Experience Bonus Program Qualification and Payments.
  • Dealer Development Support Funds/Co-op Funds
  • Sales Efficiency and market performance reporting (shared sales, insell/outsell, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Region and National Management to ensure Region compliance with all AOR Notification Requirements per Franchise Law Information System (FLIS) across the states covered by the Region, including notification to dealers and state regulatory authorities.
  • Reconcile and disperse dealer parts account to applicable vendors or release to dealer, complying with strict HMA and/or State timelines and requirements.
  • Risk management in relation to Finance policies and procedures related to Flooring, Cash Incentive, Cash In Advance, in relation to dealer parts account to limits HMA's financial exposure, while complying with all HMA requirements.
  • Maintain current and accurate facility information and photograph files for all dealers.
  • Maintain confidential dealer files and requests for legal documentation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by regional executive management.
  • Position has authority to be instrumental to Regional and National staff in maintaining accurate and complete records as directed by Sr. Group Manager, Market Representation.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Four to five years experience in the automotive industry preferably with sales, dealer development/market representation.
  • Legal background a plus.
  • Enthusiastic autonomous self-starter with a bias to action and exceptional attention to detail and follow through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and take input from many sources; flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to solve difficult problems; suggesting and using well-reasoned solutions.
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Experience with SAP, MicroStrategy Reporting, SQL based query system a plus.
