Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our Program Management Office (PMO) team. This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating critical program activities, ensuring successful execution of program objectives, and driving alignment across key stakeholders. The successful candidate will focus on customer engagement, EACs/EVMS management, launcher system deliveries, and supplier engagement to ensure program success. A strong history of working with both Army and Navy air defense systems is highly desired.
What You Will Do
Customer Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and alignment with program objectives.
  • Lead customer meetings, prepare status reports, and address any program-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.

EACs/EVMS Management:
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EACs) in compliance with RTX policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance and provide regular updates to program leadership.
  • Analyze program performance metrics and recommend corrective actions to maintain cost and schedule objectives.
  • Launcher System Deliveries:
  • Manage all aspects of launcher system deliveries, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, technical requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to address any issues and support on-time delivery.
  • Track progress against delivery milestones and ensure risks are mitigated.

Supplier Engagement:
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials in alignment with program schedules.
  • Lead supplier reviews and performance assessments to maintain quality and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Work with the Supply Chain team to resolve any supplier-related issues that could impact program execution.

Army and Navy Air Defense Systems:
  • Leverage demonstrated experience and knowledge of both Army and Navy air defense systems to enhance program execution and customer engagement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in coordinating program efforts to meet the unique needs of Army and Navy stakeholders.
  • Ensure program deliverables align with the requirements and standards of both Army and Navy air defense programs.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • PM6 certification required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer engagement, EACs, EVMS, supplier management, and delivery of complex systems.
  • Strong knowledge of program management processes, including risk management, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Strong history of working with both Army and Navy air defense systems.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • PMP Certification or equivalent.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with launcher systems or similar aerospace/defense products.
  • Familiarity with RTX program management tools and processes.
  • Active DoD Secret or higher security clearance (or ability to obtain one).

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
