Job description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a school-based role in Marion, NC for the 26/27 school year. This is a part-time position supporting a local school district and is ideal for credentialed School Psychologists who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active School Psychologist license/credential valid in North Carolina
  • DPI Licensure & LPA Licensure through the NC Psychology Board
  • Graduate degree (Ed.S. or higher) from a NASP-approved or equivalent program
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in IEP processes

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral)
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to support student success plans
  • Complete documentation, report writing, and eligibility meetings (remote documentation flexibility where permitted)
  • Provide consultation and evidence-based recommendations to school teams
  • Work as part of a clinically led team focused on student outcomes and service quality
