Essential Functions:

  • Fabricate, assemble, install, modify, and repair marine piping systems in accordance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, isometric drawings, and technical work instructions.
  • Measure, cut, bevel, thread, bend, and fit pipe to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Align, position, and secure piping systems and components for installation aboard marine vessels.
  • Perform inspections of piping systems to verify proper fit, alignment, and compliance with quality standards.

Requirements:
  • Experience as a Pipe Fitter in shipbuilding, marine, industrial, or heavy construction environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, isometric drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Experience measuring, cutting, threading, bending, fitting, and installing pipe.
  • Knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, valves, and marine piping installation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of shipyard safety practices and workplace safety standards.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic math, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
