Job Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for meeting the requirements of Receiving Inspection, In Process, and Final Inspection specifications and criteria. To uphold ACR standards and to follow our company’s quality policy.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Interpret Drawings
  • Understanding part specifications and requirements
  • Performs inspections per drawing or WI requirements
  • Able to perform problem-solving techniques when parts are not to print
  • Compiles accurate data records
  • Communicates with Quality supervision on accepted completed inspections and reports, as necessary
  • Assist in supplier FAI approvals
  • Understands and can use Metrology measuring tools and equipment
  • Conducts routine and non-routine audits of in-process materials, raw materials, and finished goods
  • Interprets test results and compares them to established specifications and control limits, and makes recommendations on the appropriateness of data for release
  • Performs visual inspections of ACR products
  • Completes documentation needed to support testing per work instructions
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required skills/abilities

  • Intermediate Excel experience is required (Pivot Tables, Formulas)
  • Proficiency in ERP system, Word, and Microsoft Teams
  • An understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances is required

Knowledge, Education, and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Technical Degree, usually obtained by post-secondary education from specialized training or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a manufacturing production capacity or prior applicable experience is required.
