Position: Non-Exempt, Full-time
Reports to: Construction Manager
Location: Remote
Description
The Designer supports complex construction projects through the creation, maintenance, and coordination of detailed 3D models. This position requires proficiency in Revit and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals. Required experience includes LOD 350-400 Electrical work and experience in electrical trades. The role is responsible for ensuring model accuracy, supporting BIM processes, and aiding field operations through remote coordination.
Responsibilities
Model Creation amp; Maintenance:
Develop and maintain accurate 3D models using Revit, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure consistency and coordination across disciplines.
Clash Detection amp; Coordination:
Use clash detection software such as Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts between building systems.
Coordinate closely with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) teams to ensure integrated, clash-free designs.
Remote Field Support:
Provide remote coordination and support for field operations, ensuring accurate integration of 3D scans and field data into project models.
Documentation amp; Quality Control:
Prepare and manage technical documentation, drawings, and schedules required by project teams.
