Position Overview:
As part of the Sales Operations and Market Intelligence team, you will support key initiatives across market intelligence, forecasting, analytics, strategic planning, and emerging AI-enabled business solutions. This internship offers exposure to market research, competitive analysis, forecasting methodologies, sales performance analytics, marketing effectiveness measurement, and business intelligence tools within a fast-paced consumer products environment. The intern will work closely with sales leaders, analysts, forecasting teams, marketing stakeholders, and business partners to identify market opportunities, improve reporting processes, optimize lead conversion effectiveness, and support data-driven decision making. This role will also provide exposure to the growing use of Agentic AI and advanced analytics applications supporting U.S. Sales.

Essential Functions:
Market Intelligence & Analytics Support
  • Support ongoing market and sales performance analysis through Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, and internal reporting tools.
  • Assist in building, validating, and maintaining recurring market intelligence reports and executive dashboards.
  • Analyze trends across regions, products, customer segments, and channels to identify opportunities and business risks.
  • Conduct competitive and industry research to identify emerging trends, market shifts, and growth opportunities.
  • Assist with data collection, cleansing, validation, and governance efforts to improve reporting accuracy and business insights.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance, lead generation activity, and lead conversion trends to identify opportunities for improved commercial effectiveness.
  • Support leadership reporting and performance measurement activities.
Forecasting & Strategic Planning
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Market Intelligence teams on forecast updates and scenario modeling exercises.
  • Support long-range business planning activities, including five-year forecasting initiatives for key market segments.
  • Assist in preparing analyses, recommendations, and presentation materials for leadership reviews and planning discussions.
  • Help support annual planning activities and other key deliverables during peak business cycles.
  • Analyze business performance data to support strategic decision making and growth initiatives.
Agentic AI & Business Intelligence Projects
  • Assist in evaluating, developing, and testing Agentic AI use cases that support sales and market intelligence activities.
  • Support automation and process improvement efforts related to reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency through advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Help document processes, best practices, and user guidance for analytics, reporting, and AI applications.
  • Support the growing portfolio of AI initiatives across U.S. Sales.
Project-Based Assignment
  • Own a defined internship project focused on market intelligence, forecasting, analytics, AI enablement, CRM optimization, or reporting enhancement.
  • Present key findings, recommendations, and business insights to Sales Operations and Market Intelligence leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

Required Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using SQL and database querying techniques to extract, analyze, and validate data.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits
  • Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) through a full term running May through August 2027

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internship or co-op experience.
  • Coursework, project work, or internship experience in business analytics, market research, forecasting, business intelligence, data science, economics, or strategic planning.
  • Experience with Salesforce, including CRM reporting, data structures, or back-end integrations.
  • Experience with automation tools, AI applications, or advanced analytics solutions.
  • Interest in market intelligence, business strategy, analytics, forecasting, sales operations, or commercial excellence.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics or data modeling concepts.

  • Project Work: The work environment is supportive, collaborative, and conducive to learning. Student co-ops or interns typically work on specific projects or tasks that contribute to the organization's goals. This may range from supporting larger projects to handling smaller, individual assignments.
  • Hours: Co-ops and Interns are expected to work a full 40-hour work week
  • Feedback and Performance Reviews: As a co-op or intern, you will receive feedback and performance reviews throughout your assignment. We value the importance for interns to understand their progress and areas for improvement.

The pay range for this position is $17-$27.50per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will vary depending on multiple factors including year in school/credits earned, degree, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
