Job description

Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operator to join our fast-paced stone fabrication team. The role involves working in a swing shift from Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with training conducted in the earlier hours from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure and cut granite to job specifications using a tape measure and shop diagrams.
  • Operate and feed polishing and beveling machines.
  • Cut granite to length after processing, ensuring precision and adherence to design.
  • Manage the proper flow of tops to stay on production schedule.
  • Select and utilize appropriate tooling for CNC-based machinery.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance for CNC equipment.
  • Maximize production efficiency while minimizing remakes.
  • Assist in process development related to CNC routers.
  • Adjust and dress CNC tooling as needed.
Essential Skills
  • Machine operation skills, including polishing and fabricating parts for countertops made of granite, quartz, and other materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop diagrams and tape measurements.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, saws, grinders, and polishers.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to measure in standard or metric units.

  • Requires Steel Toed-Non Slip Boots. Wet boots can be provided if needed.

Pay and Benefits
