Apply Now! CTI is seeking a fulltime Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Marana, AZ
As a Wash Bay Attendant for commercial vehicles, your primary duty will be to clean and detail our fleet's trucks and trailers, primarily semi-trucks. CTI has its own state-of-the-art truck washing bay on the property, you will work in an enclosed environment using an automatic high-pressure washer system.
Hourly pay: $19.00-$20.00/hour (DOE)
Quarterly Safety Bonus: $300 per quarter
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver license (CDL not required but preferred)
  • No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years
  • No major moving violations within the previous 5 years
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to operate commercial motor vehicles on private property; training provided
  • Successful respirator physical, and respirator fit test *half mask
  • Successful pre-employment background screening & drug testing
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Moving commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, to and from parking areas and the wash area.
  • Washing the exterior of commercial vehicles using water, cleansers, brushes, sponges, etc.
  • Cleaning the interior of commercial vehicles, including windows, trim, instrument panels, carpets, etc.
  • Removing dust, grease, asphalt, concrete, etc. from the exterior or engine compartment of commercial vehicles using high-pressure washing equipment or appropriate solvents.
  • Fumigating commercial vehicles with gases or sprays as needed.
  • Keeping premises of the building, shop, fuel island, parking lots, and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Operating and safely moving equipment such as tractor/trailers, light duty vehicles, forklifts, boom-lifts around the yard as needed.
  • Keeping accurate records of vehicle cleaning schedules.
  • Informing the Manager of equipment issues.
  • Inspecting Fuel and DEF Levels after the wash is completed. Filling as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and drivers to coordinate service schedules and address any issues promptly.

  • Performing scheduled maintenance on wash bay equipment. Documenting maintenance performed.
  • Logging all chemical fluid levels and reporting to the supervisor when chemicals are needed.
  • Assisting with the training of new wash bay employees, particularly regarding safety procedures, equipment operation, and cleaning techniques.

  • Dependability: Reliable and punctual, as consistent attendance is essential for maintaining cleanliness standards and meeting service schedules.
  • Ability to work well with others.
Physical Requirements:
This job is physically demanding and requires physical stamina and strength, as it involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • This position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands and fingers; and lift, carry, pull, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
