Location: Park City, Utah (on-site)
Join Our Team:
At the National Ability Center, every stay at our lodge helps create opportunities for people with disabilities to experience adaptive sports, recreation, and meaningful connection. We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Lodge & Hospitality Coordinator to support lodge operations and provide exceptional guest experiences during evenings, weekends, and other extended-hours periods. This position serves as an important on-site presence for participants, families, groups, and community partners while supporting lodging, catering, conferences, housekeeping coordination, and overall lodge readiness.
Job Summary:
The Lodge and Hospitality Coordinator supports the day-to-day hospitality and operational functions of the National Ability Center Lodge, with a primary focus on evening and weekend coverage. This position serves as the primary on-site hospitality contact when the Lodge Manager and other leadership staff are not present. This role works closely with the Lodge Manager, Group Reservations, Program staff, Buildings and Grounds, housekeeping contractors, catering vendors, interns, volunteers, and other partners to ensure a safe, accessible, welcoming, and consistently high-quality guest experience. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. Essential Duties:
- Serve as the primary lodge point of contact during assigned shifts and respond to operational needs and customer concerns when the Lodge Manager and other leadership staff are not present.
- Coordinate evening and weekend guest check-in and check-out and respond to guest questions, requests, and routine concerns; welcome guests and provide friendly, professional, accessible, and mission-driven hospitality.
- Conduct routine lodge walkthroughs and ensure guest rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and lodge facilities are clean, accessible, safe, organized, and prepared for guests.
- Maintain accurate room status information and coordinate room turnover and housekeeping needs with the housekeeping contractor.
- Coordinate on-site catering and meal service logistics, including vendor arrival, dining space readiness, dietary accommodations, and guest hospitality; ensure dining and hospitality spaces are appropriately prepared, maintained, and reset before and following meal service.
- Support Group Reservations with conference and event operations, including room setup and breakdown, audiovisual equipment, hospitality amenities, and on-site customer service.
- Ensure meeting and conference spaces are clean, accessible, organized, and prepared according to event requirements.
- Respond appropriately to safety, security, or medical incidents within the scope of training and escalate significant concerns to the Lodge Manager or appropriate staff.
- Coordinate, orient, and provide day-to-day guidance to interns and volunteers supporting Lodge operations, conferences, catering, and hospitality activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Group Reservations, Programs, Facilities, housekeeping, catering vendors, and other partners to support seamless guest and group experiences.
- Assist with key fundraising events and other special events as needed to help advance program goals and support; serves as an ambassador and representative for the National Ability Center.
