Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on SAP SD / O2C Functional Consultant to support a global SAP S/4HANA transformation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Order-to-Cash processes, SAP SD module, integration with eCommerce and external systems, and global template adoption. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, and technical teams to ensure successful solution design, data migration, and testing execution aligned with S/4HANA global standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business and global workstream leads to implement the O2C solution aligned with the Global Template.
  • Analyze business processes and requirements; identify gaps and provide functional solutions.
  • Support the testing of end-to-end O2C processes including pricing, postings, and order processing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including eCommerce, Salesforce, WMS, and TMS integrations.
  • Support and document testing efforts, including SIT, UAT, and business simulations.
  • Ensure test cases reflect U.S. localization and nuances; encourage and support test execution and defect resolution.
  • Assist in data migration efforts, including master and transactional data (Customer Master, Hierarchies, Open Sales Orders, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the data and technology teams to ensure accurate source-to-target mappings and data validation.
  • Work closely with the adoption/training teams to ensure smooth change management and end-user readiness.
  • Provide go-live and post-go-live support, resolving defects and recommending enhancements as needed.
  • Utilize tools like ServiceNow (SNOW) to track issues, follow up on discussion points, and maintain documentation.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP experience with expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and S/4HANA.
  • Strong functional understanding of O2C processes including pricing, postings, and API-based integrations.
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems such as Salesforce, WMS, and TMS.
  • Prior involvement in S/4HANA global template projects and experience navigating global/local process harmonization.
  • Knowledge of data migration processes and tools; experience with field mapping between ECC and S/4.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce processes including order sync, pricing logic, and historical data feeds.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders.
