POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for collaboratively creating and tactically executing a marketing communications strategy for the Climate Control Group of companies in alignment with the ClimateMaster, ClimaCool, Koax, IEC, and ClimateCraft brands. This includes developing and executing multi-platform communication strategies and plans, content and messaging for traditional and digital, paid, and earned marketing strategies - to help ensure audience engagement, build awareness, and ROI. The Marketing Communications Specialist will manage advertising, public relations, internal and external communications, website messaging, and demand and lead generation. This individual is organized and detail oriented.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Work with Director of Marketing to develop and implement multi-platform communications strategy and plan, in line with corporate and brand direction including social media, demand generation, lead generation, public relations, website messaging, and internal and external communications.

Collaborate with in-house creative team and product managers to develop marketing assets in support of new product launches, and marketing events and programs.

Work with in-house marketing team, agencies, in-house creative team, and other key stakeholders to localize relevant messaging and campaigns to create assets for our channel partners and customers to use for local advertising and sales promotion outreach.

Coordinate projects with external agency partners and vendors who support public relations, content creation and messaging.

Develop KPIs to track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives and recommend data-driven solutions as needed.

Proactively and consistently communicate status on projects to all levels of the organization for alignment and provide a single point of contact for large-scale projects.

Develop regular cadence of outreach to sales, channel partners and customers to keep them informed of marketing initiatives.

Publish monthly PR updates.

Build and leverage relationships with relevant media partners as part of PR and Marketing tactical execution of strategy.

Manage project details, budgets, and schedules for the creation of marketing campaign deliverables, ensuring high-quality results on-time and on budget

Provide recommendations on marketing tools to support promotional projects (automation software, social media scheduling, etc.).

Skills & Abilities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration or relevant experience

Experience:

3-5+ years of marketing experience that includes communications, public relations, product marketing, brand positioning, and lifecycle marketing experience

2 years of relevant experience in the HVAC industry or B2B preferred but not required

Computer Skills:

Skilled with MS Office

Google Suite

Familiarity with MAP software such as HubSpot, Pardot, or Eloqua

Experience with Content management systems (CMS)

Proficiency in CRM software, such as MS Dynamics 365,Salesforce, and HubSpot

Able to conceptualize, implement, and manage brand vision and market strategy

Digital marketing/campaign aptitude
