Job Description for: Manufacturing Production Associate 

Sid Harvey’s an HVAC wholesale distributor of heating, cooling and refrigeration equipment and products is seeking a full-time employee for the Manufacturing Plant in Andrews, South Carolina. 

Summary:

Sid Harvey’s is looking to fill an entry level position for a Manufacturing Production Associate who must have good hand eye coordination, ability to follow safety rules as well as follow instructions and procedure. In addition, must be able work individually and a part of a team and posses good communication skills. 

Reports To:

Supervisor 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test.
  • Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal personnel and associates with courtesy and respect.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Good hand eye coordination.
  • Familiarity with power tools and machinery a plus. 
  • Ability to follow safety rules. 
  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures. 
  • Perform other responsibilities as directed.

Abilities and Physical Requirements: 
 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; as well as walk; carry and or reach. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 40 lbs. 

The employee is regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic in performing daily tasks. The ability to safely operate a forklift and or pallet jack is a plus.
