We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence. This individual will bring strong leadership, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to manage performance in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate thrives on coaching teams, solving problems, and continuously improving processes to meet both customer and organizational expectations.


What will you be doing?

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will:



  • Lead and supervise production teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow to align staffing and resources with production schedules

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety policies, EHS standards, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance

  • Drive communication and accountability through tier meetings, shift start-up meetings, and performance reviews

  • Coach, develop, and support team members through training, feedback, and performance management

  • Address attendance, behavioral, and performance concerns in alignment with company policies

  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions

  • Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (safety, quality, delivery, efficiency)

  • Promote and sustain 5S, waste reduction, and process standardization efforts

  • Ensure proper equipment use, maintenance coordination, and timely escalation of issues

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment

  • Document production activities, complete shift reports, and ensure accurate system transactions

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts as needed

  • Perform additional duties to support business operations as required

  • Proven experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadership

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems

  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/reporting systems

  • Knowledge of Lean principles, including 5S and continuous improvement

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and safety procedures


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree with 3โ€“5 years of manufacturing experience

  • Experience supervising in multi-shift environments

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification

  • Experience with ERP or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, Plex)

  • Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA)

  • Experience leading safety, quality, or productivity improvement initiatives

  • Background in high-volume or high-precision manufacturing environments

  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with production equipment
