Job description

Principal Objective of Position:                                                                                                     

The Supervisor oversees the workflow in their department. They are responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate vital information in front of large groups
  • Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in way that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
  • Ensure 5S standards are established and being followed
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Keep all employees safe and trained to be compliant with safety procedures
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Receive complaints and resolve problems
  • Prepare and submit performance reports
  • Give input on rewards and promotions based on performance
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
