Job description

We're recovering value and protecting the planet — and we need an experienced Operations Manager to run our Riverbank e-waste recycling facility day to day. 3R Technology Global is an AI-driven e-waste recovery and circular economy company with operations in the United States, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. We collect and process e-waste, small domestic appliances (SDA), and other end-of-life electronics from ITAD providers, manufacturers, retailers, and commercial/industrial clients, recovering precious metals, plastics, and critical materials using proprietary AI robotic sorting technology, and achieving recovery rates well above industry standards. What You'll Do Oversee daily operations of the e-waste recycling facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. Manage logistics end-to-end: inbound e-waste and SDA collection, processing workflows, and outbound materials. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians, sorters, and operations staff. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all operational processes. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, California DTSC). Monitor facility KPIs, production output, and operational budgets. Coordinate with vendors, ITAD partners, manufacturers, retailers, clients, and third-party logistics providers. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and capacity growth. Prepare operational reports and present findings to senior leadership. Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and ensure all machinery stays operational. Collaborate with HR and the Office Manager on staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning. What You Bring 3-7 years of operations management experience, ideally in e-waste, electronics recycling, or waste management. Proven experience managing teams in a production or facility environment. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and recycling compliance standards. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Strong communication skills — able to liaise with staff, clients, and regulatory bodies. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Environmental Science, or related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and operations/inventory management software. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Ability to speak Chinese. Why Join Us Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off and holidays. A mission-driven work environment focused on environmental sustainability. Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding recycling company. Details Reports to: Chief Executive Officer / General Manager. On-site, full-time. 3R Technology Global is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
