Your Next Adventure: Regional Manager of Clinical Operations

Reporting To: Director of Clinical Operations

Location: Bay Area, CA

Classification: Regular, Full-Time, Exempt

Schedule: Regional on-site role with regular travel between Bay Area clinic locations

Who You Are

Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for healthcare and wellness — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and knows how to develop great managers, drive results through data, and create a culture of accountability and excellence? Do you find yourself energized by the idea of being on the ground across multiple clinic locations, coaching teams, solving operational challenges in real time, and building the systems that allow a growing healthcare organization to scale? If you're nodding along, you might just be the strategic, hands-on operations leader we've been looking for!

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in multi-site operations leadership, a deep commitment to exceptional member experience, and the leadership instincts to develop and inspire Clinician Managers across our Bay Area region.

Regional Clinic Oversight
  • Oversee multiple Bay Area JumpstartMD clinic locations, traveling regularly between sites to provide hands-on operational support, coaching, and accountability
  • Partner closely with the Director of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer to keep clinical and operational priorities aligned across every site you oversee
Team Leadership & Manager Development
  • Directly manage Clinician Managers at each clinic — coaching, holding them accountable, and supporting their professional development
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of Clinician Managers in partnership with HR
Operational Excellence
  • Own KPIs across your region including retention, member growth, satisfaction, product sales, and efficiency
  • Ensure staffing, scheduling, payroll, and inventory consistency across all sites
  • Drive workflow standardization and continuous process improvement region-wide
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they impact the member experience at any site
  • 4+ years in operations leadership — multi-site management experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and developing managers, not just individual contributors
  • Comfort with regular travel between multiple Bay Area clinic locations
  • Data-driven decision maker — you make decisions from KPIs, not gut feel
  • Healthcare or wellness operations background strongly preferred
  • Clinical licensure (NP, PA, MD/DO) is a plus, not a requirement
  • Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation required

Mission-Driven Leadership: Energetically committed to transforming lives through operational excellence and a best-in‑class member experience.

Data & Analytics Fluency: Comfortable owning and driving KPIs, identifying trends, and making informed decisions that improve clinic performance.

Manager Development: Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold accountable the managers who lead each clinic team.

Operational Discipline: Strong systems thinker with a track record of standardizing workflows and driving continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Positive, collaborative, and adept at building trust with clinic teams, clinical leadership, and cross‑functional partners.

Adaptable Entrepreneur: Thrives in a dynamic, fast‑scaling environment — brings creativity and a solutions‑oriented mindset to every challenge.

Confidentiality and Professionalism: Maintains the highest level of confidentiality while consistently representing JumpstartMD with a positive and professional demeanor.

Impact Lives: Be part of a team that's transforming health, empowering individuals, and celebrating over a million pounds lost — and counting!

Innovation at Its Best: Work in an environment that's rich in innovation, backed by cutting‑edge research, and personalized to perfection.

Community and Connection: Join a team of passionate professionals across 14 locations on route to 100, all committed to uplifting health and wellness.

Grow with Us: With aggressive plans for geographical expansion, the sky's the limit for your career growth and personal development.

Opportunity for Growth: Collaborate with a passionate team to scale a best‑in‑class medical weight management, health, and wellness program nationally.

Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary plus performance bonus reflecting your skills and contributions.

Equity Opportunities: Participate in equity opportunities as a key leader in a fast‑scaling company.

Financial Security: Participate in a 401(k) plan with a company match, promoting long-term financial well‑being.

Time Off: Benefit from generous accrued paid time off to maintain a healthy work‑life balance.

Wellness Support
  • Receive 4 annual paid wellness days to prioritize your health
  • Access free JSMD services (Weight Loss and Bioidentical Hormone Therapy)
  • Enjoy discounted JSMD products (e.g., Vitamin Therapy, supplements, etc.)
