Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Day Shift / Night Shift)

Location: Sumter, SC
Shift: 3-2-2-3 Day Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) / (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
(3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)

Job Overview

We are seeking Manufacturing Technicians to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently, maintaining product quality, minimizing downtime, and meeting daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Perform equipment changeovers and optimize machine performance.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and production standards are met.
  • Maintain production and equipment downtime logs.
  • Read and interpret machine blueprints and follow setup procedures.
  • Perform quality inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Clear machine jams and restart equipment safely.
  • Monitor component inventory and notify material handlers when supplies are low.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
  • Support upstream and downstream production operations.
  • Perform rework and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing, machine operation, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Ability to read machine blueprints is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
  • No drug screening required.
  • Candidates may begin work while background checks are pending; however, all criminal background checks must be successfully cleared.
  • Eye exam required.
