Job description

As a leading provider of engineered plastics and composite solutions, our team works together to solve complex manufacturing challenges and deliver exceptional results for our customersWe are looking to add a Maintenance Manager to oversee and drive maintenance operations across our Saline and Warren production facilites. This position works closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering to maximize equipment uptime, improve equipment reliability, and drive proactive maintenance of injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems.  Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including training, assigning work, monitoring completion, ensuring consistent application of organizational practices and policies, and estimating staffing needs. Train, coach, and develop maintenance staff to build technical capabilities and support continuous improvement. Oversee maintenance employee timecards, ensuring accurate timekeeping and compliance with company policy. Ensure preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility projects are completed on schedule. Maintain, add, and update preventative maintenance schedule on IQMS (DelmiaWorks) Manage spare part inventory and identify replacement components as needed. Troubleshoot, repair, install, and program production equipment, including automated machinery, robots, and programmable controllers. Identify root causes of maintenance issues, monitor PM effectiveness, and track corporate KPIs to drive continuous improvement and reduce unscheduled downtime. Maintain and manage EMS systems for maintenance and facilities. Actively participate in creating and maintaining a safe working environment while improving plant operations. Other projects/duties as assigned Qualifications: Associates degree, Trade or Technical School or equivalent experience Processing/injection molding class certification 4-8 years of practical, hands-on maintenance experience in machine repair. With 1-3 years in leading a maintenance team. Demonstrated experience with plastic injection molding equipment, automation equipment, and auxiliary equipment. Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronical systems in plastic molding environments.Robotics training a plus. Injection molding certification a plus. Proven time management skills with a history of completing projects accurately and on-time. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with professionalism, judgement, and composure to effectively communicate with employees, leadership, and cross-functional teams. Must be able to travel between facilities as required. Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed to support production operations. Work Environment and Expectations:This is a hands-on manufacturing role that requires significant time on the production floor.The manufacturing environment may be hot, noisy, and dirty.
