Job description

Job Summary 


As a machining maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing the preventative maintenance on various machines and equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the maintenance, care and repair of CNC Machines, and/or have a mechanical repairs background. You will be expected to service, repair and test machines and be able to identify the root cause of errors of other defects and repair as needed.


Duties and Responsibilities include:


  • General care, cleaning and routine maintenance of manufacturing machines, equipment and facility.
  • Repair, troubleshoot and replace damaged components. Dismantle and reassemble accordingly.
  • Observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
  • Review and follow detailed works instructions and operation manuals to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
  • Inspect or test damaged machine parts and report accordingly.
  • Always follow safe operating procedures.


Must Haves:


  • Previous mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Ability to identify defects or mechanical problems with CNC machines and repair as necessary.
  • Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills.
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Attention to detail.
