Job description

LeachGarner is hiring a Machine Operator to work on 1st shift.

4-day Workweek! Hours are Monday - Thursday 4:30 am – 3:00 pm

Machine Operators set up, maintain and operate various machinery. As a Machine Operator you must be able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out safely and smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines to start a production cycle
  • Control and adjust machine settings
  • Feed product into machine
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Maintain activity logs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a manufacturing production setting
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds multiple times throughout shift
  • Able to stand, walk and reach throughout the shift
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Manual dexterity
  • Visual acuity
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective equipment gear)
