What you'll do
This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across Metrie's Manufacturing business in North America. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for salaried positions across multiple locations while helping shape how we attract, assess, and develop talent. In addition to recruitment, you'll support workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership pipeline initiatives that strengthen our future talent bench. Working closely with site-based P&C teams, you'll help enhance hiring effectiveness through recruitment best practices, innovative workforce solutions, and talent initiatives that support strong operational teams today and into the future.
Location:In-office, 4 days per week at our Langley office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for salaried Manufacturing positions across North America.

  • Partner with hiring leaders to develop sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, and attract top talent.

  • Identify and engage passive candidates through direct sourcing, networking, headhunting, and market mapping strategies.

  • Provide recruitment expertise, tools, and best practices to support effective hiring decisions.

  • Support site-based P&C teams with hourly recruitment frameworks, job fair strategies, candidate assessment tools, and hiring best practices.

  • Support immigration and workforce challenges by researching immigration pathways, identifying talent opportunities, and exploring workforce solutions.

  • Monitor labour market trends and talent availability to support workforce planning and hard-to-fill recruitment needs.

  • Track recruitment metrics and provide insights on hiring effectiveness and market trends.

  • Support Manufacturing talent initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, workforce upskilling, talent assessment, and leadership pipeline development.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including direct sourcing, headhunting, and talent pipeline development.
  • Experience recruiting salaried positions within manufacturing, operations, industrial, or related environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and attract passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical, professional, sales and leadership roles.
  • Strong talent mapping, pipeline development, and proactive sourcing capabilities using a variety of recruitment channels and market intelligence.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
  • Experience developing recruitment processes, tools, interview guides, and hiring best practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning, succession planning, talent assessment, or broader talent management initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Experience researching labour market trends, talent availability, and workforce challenges to inform hiring strategies and business decisions.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
  • Knowledge of immigration programs, workforce planning, or manufacturing labour markets is an asset.

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at $80,000 - $90,000 per year. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
