Job description

Engineering Teacher – Career & Technical Education (CTE)

Position Overview:

Eagle Manufacturing’s student-led business is seeking an Engineering teacher to join our Career and Technical Education (CTE) team. This position is ideal for an educator with a strong background in engineering and manufacturing who is passionate about teaching both employability and technical skills to help prepare our students for success. Eagle Manufacturing is committed to providing high-quality, career-focused education that prepares students for success in the workforce. We encourage qualified candidates with a passion for engineering, manufacturing, and education to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Principles-level and Concentrator Engineering pathway courses

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction aligned with CTE standards

  • Support students in developing employability skills, technical skills, and industry awareness

  • Collaborate with CTE staff and industry partners to enhance program offerings

  • Help manage an engineering and manufacturing production department within a student-led business

  • Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and student assessments

Qualifications:

  • Teaching certification, preferred area of study Technology and Engineering Education

  • Appropriate teaching licensure (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Experience in 3D modeling software (Fusion360 or similar)

  • Preferred experience in CNC Mill/Lathe Operation and Programming

  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills

  • Commitment to student success and career readiness

Contract & Compensation:

  • 187-day teacher contract

  • Salary based on experience and licensure
