Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing new production equipment, maintaining accurate work instructions, routings, and BOMs, and driving process improvements focused on cost reduction, quality, and safety. They utilize lean manufacturing tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to enhance operations, and are involved in designing fixture components using CAD software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Additionally, the role includes maintaining accurate plant layouts, supporting capital projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and ergonomic standards. Effective attendance and collaboration across teams are essential to the role's success.
