The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the C-C5ISR Division under our Electronic Warfare line of business (LoB.) In this role, you will contribute to the layout and production/assembly line and testing of our systems integration area. This includes ensuring all LRUs are built in accordance to design and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Improve manufacturing/assembly efficiency through the analysis and planning of workflows, space requirements and equipment layouts
  • Researching, designing, developing and supporting systems and processes that provide for the efficient and effective production of complex products or solutions
  • Evaluate cost factors and recommend methods for economic utilization of production facilities and personnel
  • Lead First Article and redline reviews
  • Develop work instructions
  • Establish routers in our ERP system
  • Ensure product quality through the design of testing methods
  • Calculate production, labor and material costs to provide data for better decision-making
  • Collect, analyze and summarize information and trends in preparation of product and process reports
  • Continuous evaluation of production processes
  • Answer questions and field requests regarding production engineering
  • Train and guide technicians in the design and development of projects
  • Maintain product and process database
  • Comply with government regulations
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and repair to minimize impact on operations
  • Providing timely communications on significant issues
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • Participate in Engineering Review Board (ERB), Production Review Board (PRB) and Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Prepare cost estimates for proposed projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in related technical discipline (preferably Manufacturing, Production, Mechanical, Electrical or RF Engineering)
  • Experience with CAD or CAM software
  • +5 years of manufacturing/production leadership
  • Proficient in MS Office (including Project)
  • Strong communication skills including speaking and writing
  • Understanding of Resource Loaded Scheduling
  • Familiarity with Material Resource Planning tools
