Scope:
The Maintenance Manufacturing Engineer supports the reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes within TTM Technologies' printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for optimizing equipment uptime, supporting preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and driving process improvements to support production, quality, safety, and operational goals.
The position works closely with Production, Process Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance teams to ensure manufacturing equipment operates efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning, design, and implementation of equipment maintenance programs to maximize uptime, reliability, and production output across PCB manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality, failure modes, and production demands.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process-related issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and quality
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation of equipment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upgrades
  • Maintain technical documentation (SOPs, PMs, work instructions)
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Support capital projects and equipment improvements
  • Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
  • Understanding of manufacturing equipment and maintenance systems
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing preferred
  • Troubleshooting experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
  • Familiarity with preventive/predictive maintenance
  • Root cause analysis tools
  • Manufacturing knowledge
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of manufacturing or maintenance engineering experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$89,837 - $149,728
Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
