Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Decatur, Illinois (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Summary

  • MBOM creation using Vismockup.
  • Standard work updates
  • Station Layout updates and Optimization
  • Material layout and Material flow optimization
  • Read and interpret Engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Study time, motion, and methods to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
  • Experience in using AutoCAD, Vismockup, VisJack
  • Potential failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
  • Experience in working with stakeholders like Material Logistics, Quality, Production, Maintenance, etc.
  • Plant Efficiency Improvements
  • Jig & Fixture concept designs
  • Implement changes to improve overall performance.
  • look for ergonomic improvements and work with EHS team to design improved processes and / or equipment (examples include adding lift or tilt tables, hoists, and conveyor).
  • Need to communicate (verbal, written, & ppt documents) project.
