Cascade Engineering Technologies- Manufacturing Engineer
Company Overview
Cascade Engineering Technologies is a precision aerospace manufacturer specializing in metrology-driven machining of titanium and Inconel castings, Inconel forgings, and aluminum plate components for both commercial and defense aerospace applications.

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer supports production operations through process improvement, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and manufacturing optimization. This role works closely with machining, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to improve efficiency, reduce variation, and support the successful production of complex aerospace components.
The ideal candidate has strong aerospace machining experience, understands manufacturing of castings and billet materials, and is comfortable working directly with shop floor operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support daily manufacturing operations by troubleshooting machining and production-related issues
  • Provide manufacturing engineering support for complex 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machining operations involving titanium, Inconel, and aluminum aerospace components
  • Identify and implement process improvements focused on quality, efficiency, cost reduction, and throughput
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing or quality concerns
  • Evaluate manufacturability of new and existing aerospace components
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling strategies, and workholding methods
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and 5S
  • Assist with workflow, workstation, and manufacturing layout optimization
  • Collaborate with machinists, programmers, quality, and leadership teams to improve operational performance
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety and environmental standards
  • Support documentation and process standardization efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
  • Strong aerospace machining and manufacturing knowledge, particularly with castings and billet materials
  • Experience supporting CNC machining operations and manufacturing process improvements
  • Understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and aerospace tolerancing
  • Experience with CAD software and manufacturing systems
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • U.S. Citizenship required
