➡️ Modernized Manufacturing Environment: Participate in an exciting period of growth following a recent $3.5M investment in new molding machines and high-tech automation projects.

➡️ Genuine Work-Life Balance: Escape the typical manufacturing "on-call" lifestyle with a schedule that averages 45 hours per week and features very rare weekend work.

➡️ Hands-On Engineering: Spend up to 80% of your time on the manufacturing floor, engaging in diverse engineering tasks and technical problem-solving.

➡️ Stability Outside of Automotive: Build a long-term career in a stable, non-automotive environment with a straightforward product line and excellent tenure among the salaried staff.

➡️ Career Growth & Impact: Benefit from the stability of a privately held company that is actively investing in its future, providing a solid platform for professional development.

➡️ Direct Access to Leadership: Work side-by-side with the President, who is on-site daily, giving you a real voice in the company and allowing you to get your projects approved without corporate red tape.

Privately held organization is seeking a Process Engineer to oversee support production and have diverse engineering responsibilities in a fast-paced injection molding facility. Daily, you will report to the President and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support production lines while increasing efficiencies and decreasing scrap
  • Complete projects related to root cause analysis and troubleshooting downtime
  • Utilize 2D and 3D modeling to improve line layouts and design fixtures and gauges
  • Assist with new product activities, documentation and project management
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
  • Communicate with operations and production associates to improve KPIs and production initiatives
  • Work to improve current engineering designs
  • Assist with creating work instructions and other manufacturing documentation
  • Complete tooling troubleshooting and work with external tool shops
  • Support automation improvements
  • Initiate cost justification on new projects and equipment
  • If not immediately, in the future overseeing capital equipment projects, including monitoring timelines and budgets
  • Other duties directed by engineering management

The company is seeking a candidate who enjoys spending up to 80% of their day on the manufacturing floor. Candidates should be able to take ownership of projects, handle multiple projects and changing priorities, be flexible with work requirements and have a positive attitude. Qualified individuals will have the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, work under pressure and have a strong ability to solve problems and improve processes.

The company offers bonus potential, profit sharing, 401K, medical benefits, short-term and long-term disability, paid holidays, vacation, and life insurance.
