  • Work with the Design Engineering team to identify and escalate manufacturing challenges early in product development by enforcing DFM, DFA and DFS principles.
  • Drive closure of all operational issues during pre-production builds.
  • Investigate failures in production, test, and integration. Identify and mitigate underlying root causes to prevent reoccurrence and foster continuous improvement.
  • Deliver manufacturing processes capabilities including equipment capability, quality controls, materials characterization, and workmanship standards.
  • Actively monitor the success of products and processes through the production ramp.
  • Provide direction to contract manufacturing, suppliers, and engineers to manage quarantine and rework activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in PCB/PCBA fabrication facility
  • 3+ years supplier quality, manufacturing, or design experience
  • Experience in board assembly process and equipment (for example: Stencil print, SPI, pick & place, reflow, AOI, ICT, x-ray inspection).
  • Experience leading DFX reviews to deliver design to manufacturability, testability, quality, and reliability standards
  • Must be onsite 5 days a week
  • Certified or significantly familiar with IPC-610
Bonus
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
