A Day in the Life:

In the position of Manufacturing Data Analyst, you will support manufacturing operations by collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing production and business data to help improve efficiency, quality, service, and cost performance. Develop routine reports and dashboards, track key manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify trends and exceptions, and partner with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making across production, quality, maintenance, inventory, and supply chain activities.

The Impact You'll Make:
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring reports that track key manufacturing KPIs across production, quality, maintenance, inventory, and supply chain activities.
  • Collect, clean, and validate data from operational systems, databases, and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting inputs. 
  • Analyze production and business data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and exceptions, and present findings to management in clear, structured formats.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate operational needs into data outputs and visualization solutions.
  • Write and maintain scripts and queries (Python, SQL) to automate data collection, standardize formats, and reduce 
    manual reporting effort.
  • Support the development and maintenance of manufacturing monitoring applications and automation tools that feed operational data into reporting systems.
  • Document data definitions, reporting logic, and analytical processes to ensure consistency and institutional knowledge retention
Who You Are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, reporting, manufacturing operations
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or operations environment
  • Computer Skills Desired: Programming Languages & Database Tools: Proficient in Python and SQL for writing scripts, developing automation solutions, and supporting data-driven process improvements. Experienced in using Database Management Tool / Database Administration Tool for querying, maintaining, and organizing operational data.
  • Preferred Certifications: N/A
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: MS Power app, SharePoint, Power BI
