Overview
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. The qualified candidate will assist customers, sales, technical support, R&D, and production by providing technical support, application evaluations, prototype equipment testing, documentation reviews, and new equipment installation and training on all Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems products.
Essential Functions
  • Use SAP reporting tools to verify the accuracy of LECS Metrics
  • Ensure Bills of Lading are correct
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation
  • Work cross functionally to provide inventory reporting, resolve inventory issues, and develop support strategies that continuously improve inventory accuracy
  • Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in inventory
  • Ship packages using UPS and FedEx
  • Complete shipping labels for domestic and international shipments
  • Verify that purchase documents accurately reflect quoted pricing and ordered quantities; identify, document, and resolve discrepancies within scope of authority.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to inventory control; advise management of improvements, potential cost savings, and order handling efficiencies
  • Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with production, planning, purchasing, and sales to identify and address shortages
  • Verify inventory needs and coordinate expediting and handling activities across departments to support internal and external customer demand
  • Perform general shop duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload allows

The environment may include exposure to dust, temperature fluctuations, and vibration. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection. The role involves working in close proximity to other employees and equipment and requires adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
