Job Description:

L3Harirs Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Planning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing processes and will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing operations. As a Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of manufacturing engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
