Description:

The Manufacturing Inspector, located in a climate-controlled facility in Orange, TX, is committed to supporting Cloeren Incorporated continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by using various gauges and other tolerance equipment to make sure machined parts are to specifications.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Read and interpret engineering drawings/prints in order to be able to inspect manufactured parts.
  2. Inspect manufactured parts for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards while ensuring print tolerances are as expected.
  3. Record inspection data as needed in a legible format.
  4. Use required tolerance equipment and tools as necessary.
  5. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:

At a minimum, the Manufacturing Inspector must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 1-3 years of experience as a Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector and proven ability to read prints. Associates degree in machining or related field of study, or trade school graduate along with prior Class 1 Machinist, CNC Operator, or Manufacturing Quality Inspector experience is highly preferred.
