Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, but are not limited to the following:
  • Evaluate continuous improvement activities and support the implementation of plans to optimize performance and improve processes.
  • Proactively identify potential issues that may impact production schedules, lot reconciliation, or key assigned projects.
  • Ensure production lots move through the process as planned and that the appropriate support functions respond in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide support in resolving lot documentation issues to help maintain production flow and ensure products are delivered on time.
  • Provide frequent updates to the management team regarding key documentation projects.
  • Ensure data collection accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Support the Production Supervisor in maintaining and tracking key production metrics, including:
    • Machine efficiency
    • Labor efficiency
    • Scrap quantity
    • Machine utilization
    • Build plan versus actual production
    • Set-up hours
  • Maintain production documentation and generate routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Support investigations related to process and quality issues or nonconformance reports, as needed.
  • Participate in meetings as required.
  • Reconcile jobs and verify that documented activities comply with Good Documentation Practices.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a metal manufacturing work environment preferred.
• Excellent Computer Skills in Word, Excel, Power Point
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
