Role Description The Manufacturing Associate role at Revance is a contract, on-site position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is responsible for executing routine manufacturing operations in a regulated environment, including preparation of materials, setup and operation of equipment, and completion of production batches in accordance with established procedures. Day-to-day tasks include working within clean rooms, following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, performing basic in-process checks, and documenting activities accurately in batch records and logs. The Manufacturing Associate collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support production schedules, troubleshoot equipment or process issues, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. The role also involves assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance in manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in controlled environments and clean rooms, with a focus on maintaining aseptic and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, including production processes, equipment handling, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills in quality control, including performing checks, identifying deviations, and supporting corrective actions.
  • Strong communication skills for clear documentation, effective collaboration with team members, and reporting issues to leadership.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely, manage time effectively, and work reliably in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training or experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device manufacturing is preferred.
