SUMMARY: The Production Quality Clerk (Manufacturing) plays a dual role at the intersection of manufacturing operations and quality assurance. This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of production data, work order documentation, and ERP transactions, while actively supporting quality inspection activities, non‑conformance handling, and ISO 9001 compliance. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable working both at a desk and on the production floor, and capable of communicating findings clearly across Production, Quality, and accounting teams. All employees are expected to follow established safety protocols and support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Assurance amp; Compliance
  • Perform in-process and final inspections against written work instructions, drawings, and customer specifications.
  • Support non-conformance identification, containment, and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures.
  • Review supplier Certificates of Conformance and Certificates of Analysis; escalate discrepancies to the Quality team.
  • Assist with customer complaint data collection, including gathering production records and inspection results.
  • Support internal and external audit preparation by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and audit ready.
  • Generate and distribute daily quality reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support creation of SAL Certificate of Conformances and/or Certificate of Analysis as needed.
Production Data amp; Documentation
  • Perform Raw Material Cycle Counts for accuracy and accurate consumption towards work orders
  • Validate and extract daily shop floor data in MRP when expected in absence of the production manager
  • Provide backup support to Production Scheduling during peak periods or staffing gaps.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong attention to detail — able to catch discrepancies in high-volume data and communicate findings across teams.
  • Comfortable working on the production floor with required PPE.
Preferred
  • Associate’s degree in a related field, Engineering or Materials Science helpful
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, particularly Oracle.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
  • Experience with quality documentation such as inspection records, non-conformance reports, or certificates of conformance.
