Job description

Manual Tester

State of Michigan | Lansing, MI (onsite 2x/week)

Top 3 requirements:

  1. 4+ years of manual testing experience
  2. Basic understanding of Azure DevOps
  3. Detail oriented – client is very particular about things being done properly

Project:

  • This team supports a website where teachers are able to log in and renew their teaching certifications/licenses
  • There will be one other tester on the team, they run Agile with 3 week sprints

Day to Day:

  • Will work on regression, functional, load testing, negative testing
  • Managing test cases in Azure DevOps
  • Creating and documenting test plans in Excel
  • May be working on automating regression testing in the future

Must Haves:

  • 4+ years of manual testing experience
  • Basic understanding of Azure DevOps
  • Soft skills – looking for someone who can make a personal connection to the team – client is very particular about communication skills
  • Detail oriented – client is very particular about things being done properly

Nice to Have:

  • Automation experience – particularly interested in Cypress
