 Job Description:

Job Summary:
A QA Manual Tester is responsible for ensuring software quality by manually testing applications, identifying defects, documenting issues, and verifying that products meet business and technical requirements before release.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze business and functional requirements.
  • Create and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers.
  • Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
  • Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of manual testing techniques and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to write clear and effective test cases.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and APIs is an advantage.
