[About the Role]
Join our forward-thinking team as a Senior QA Engineer and lead the evolution of our QA function by harnessing the full potential of AI-driven automation. In this contract, fully remote role (Central Time Zone preferred), you'll be instrumental in transforming manual QA processes into agent-based automated solutions. Partner with developers, product owners, and QA professionals across multiple projects, and help elevate our collective capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an AI-savvy QA expert ready to make a significant impact and grow with a long-term, multi-year engagement.
[Responsibilities]
- Drive the transition from manual to AI agent-based QA automation across multiple projects
- Build, guide, and orchestrate AI agents to streamline QA workflows and maximize test coverage
- Design and implement automated functional, regression, and integration tests at both API and UI layers
- Leverage AI tools (Cursor, Claude, GPT/ChatGPT) for test case generation and maintenance
- Utilize Playwright for robust test automation and qTest for test case management
- Validate functional parity between legacy and modernized UI using automated AI-driven testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases
- Mentor and upskill team members in adopting AI capabilities within the QA process
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on QA and test automation experience
- Proven track record of shifting manual QA to AI-driven automation
- Strong expertise with Playwright, AI agentic workflows, Cursor, Claude, GPT/ChatGPT
- Proficient in using qTest for test case management and generation
- Robust API testing skills (Postman or similar)
- Experience designing and orchestrating AI agents for QA
- Background in automating functional, regression, and integration testing
- Analytical thinker skilled at translating business scenarios into automated QA solutions
- Comfortable with AWS environments, React front ends, and Spring Boot APIs
