Job Description

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiving Attendant to join our Drummondville team.

The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.

This position is focused on manual labour, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable with physical work.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Greet customers and apply established procedures;
  • Unload, sort, inspect, and handle materials;
  • Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;
  • Weigh and organize materials;
  • Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site;
  • Work safely in compliance with health and safety (HSE) standards;
  • Perform any other related tasks associated with operations.
Qualifications

To join our team :

  • You have experience in an industrial environment, recycling, or a related field (asset);
  • You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
  • You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
  • You are able to perform manual labour and work indoors and occasionally outdoors;

  • You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious;
