Mantras are words, phrases, or sounds that are repeated during meditation, prayer, or spiritual practice. They are used to focus the mind, promote relaxation, and help achieve a meditative or spiritual state. In various traditions, mantras are believed to have psychological and spiritual benefits, such as reducing stress, enhancing concentration, and fostering a sense of inner peace. Some mantras are associated with specific intentions or desired outcomes, while others are used simply to calm the mind.

What are some common challenges faced by mantra meditation instructors when leading group sessions?

Job description

About Mantra Fitness
Mantra Fitness is a boutique fitness brand built on strength, connection, and elevated standards. Rooted in the Mantra Method, our studios deliver a premium experience that blends physical challenge, thoughtful programming, and genuine community. We are growing intentionally and looking for leaders who take ownership, execute with excellence, and care deeply about people and performance.

Role Purpose

The Studio Manager is the operational and cultural leader of a single Mantra Fitness location. This role is fully accountable for studio performance, team leadership, and delivering a consistently elevated member experience.

This is not a passive management role. The Studio Manager owns execution - day-to-day operations, staff performance, sales outcomes, and community engagement. Success is measured by clearly defined performance metrics, not effort alone.

Compensation & Performance Alignment

This role includes a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus structure designed to reward strong execution and consistent results.

Base Salary Range:
$55,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and scope of responsibility.

Performance-Based Bonus Opportunity:
Studio Managers are eligible for additional annual bonus compensation tied to studio KPIs. When targets are met or exceeded, total annual compensation is expected to reach $75,000-$80,000+.

Bonus eligibility is directly tied to measurable outcomes, including:

  • Monthly studio revenue vs. goal
  • Membership growth and retention
  • Class utilization
  • Team stability and front desk performance
  • Cleanliness, brand standards, and operational execution

Compensation growth is earned through results, not tenure. Compensation is reviewed on a structured cadence and may evolve based on performance, business needs, and leadership alignment.
Specific compensation terms are governed by individual offer letters, which control in the event of any inconsistency.

Compensation Philosophy

Compensation for this role is directly aligned with performance against clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adherence to Mantra Fitness standards and values.

Specific salary, bonus eligibility, teaching expectations, and review cadence are outlined in individual offer letters and the Compensation & Incentives Guide. Compensation may evolve based on performance, tenure, and business needs.

  • Handle member questions, concerns, and escalations with empathy and authority

Scheduling & Instructor Support

  • Manage class schedules, instructor shifts, and substitute coverage using ClubReady
  • Communicate schedule changes clearly to instructors, staff, and members
  • Track attendance, waitlists, and cancellations to optimize utilization

Business Development & Local Marketing

  • Execute local B2B marketing initiatives in partnership with leadership
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners

  • Proactively communicate operational or performance issues to leadership
  • Collaborate with the Master Trainer on instructor support and development
