Other Conditions:
Candidates are expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry within the Chemistry Department. Instructional duties may include lectures, scheduled study and review sessions, and supervision of laboratory classes with or without teaching assistants.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach assigned undergraduate lecture and/or lab courses (up to 12 credit hours per semester)
  • Serve as instructor and coordinate teaching assistants for general, analytical and/or organic chemistry lab courses
Minimum Qualifications
  • M.S. from a college or university of recognized standing with major coursework in Chemistry or a closely related field
  • Evidence of ability to teach effectively
Desirable Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field
  • At least 2 years prior experience teaching college-level chemistry courses
